Dressed for La Scala
Yesterday we went to La Scala in Milan. Every year since the tragic SAS accident in Linate on Oct 8th, 2001, the city of Milan has given a concert in the famous Opera House to those who lost a loved one in the crash and in remembrance of the 118 victims.
I was wearing an Armani dress, Christian Louboutin shoes and I carried a Dolce & Gabbana clutch. Chris was in a Hugo Boss suit, Prada shirt, Giorgio Armani tie and Tincati shoes.

Men's fashion week FW12, Milan
Let me share a few trends from the
runway at the past weeks Fashion Week in Milan. The main fashion houses
showed their fall/winter 2012 collections for men.

Generally I take away an impression of
military, darkness and strict discipline combined with heavy brocade and
velvet, which brings out a feeling of sitting in from of the fireplace with a
glass of quality whiskey on the rocks!

Golden Globe 2012
My favorites
from the red carpet at the 69th Annual Golden Globe yesterday!
Helen Mirren always looks elegant and radiant and yesterday was no exception! She was wearing an absolutely beautiful and fantastically dramatic Badgley Mischa gown.
Kelly Osbourne
in a Blue Zac Posen dress. I love the pointed shoulders that give a great
balance to the mermaid tail. I am, however, not fond of
the hair nor the tattoos that I feel takes away from the dress.
Jessica
Alba in a lavender Gucci gown, is looking magically beautiful!
Nicole
Kidman looks fantastic in this Versace gown. I think it fits her figure perfectly
and matches her colors beautifully – especially her hair matches the gold studs
decorating the gown.
Emma Stone
was wearing a two tone Lanvin dress that I find to be wonderful, fairly
simple and refreshingly different!
Freida
Pinto was wearing one of my absolute favorites – a fantastic blue colored Prada dress!
13 year old
Ariel Winter looks wonderful in a purple Dolce & Gabbana that I think fits
her age nicely.
Taissa Farmiga
in a very elegant nude Vera Wang dress. I love it!
Heidi Klum
in a very simple Calvin Klein dress that is a perfect match to the magnificent Lorraine
Schwartz necklace! Don’t miss the back which makes the simple dress very sexy.

Window shopping in Milan
On a
beautiful Saturday in sunny Milan I walked around the fashion district for
inspiration and research. I enjoyed the fresh November air and the many
beautiful spots. Let me share some of my “window shopping” with you.

Miu Miu, Via Della Spiga |
Emilio Pucci, Via Montenapoleone |
Stella McCartney, Via Santo Spirito |
Ballin, Via Santo Spirito |
Alessandro Oteri, Via Borgospesso |
I also found this shoe store in the center of Milan - I guess I have to buy a pair of shoe there at some point as it has my name on it ;-)
I was not alone....a lot of shoppers enjoyed beautiful Milan with Duomo as a
magnificent “centerpiece”;-)
