Dressed for La Scala

Yesterday we went to La Scala in Milan. Every year since the tragic SAS accident in Linate on Oct 8th, 2001, the city of Milan has given a concert in the famous Opera House to those who lost a loved one in the crash and in remembrance of the 118 victims.

I was wearing an Armani dress, Christian Louboutin shoes and I carried a Dolce & Gabbana clutch. Chris was in a Hugo Boss suit, Prada shirt, Giorgio Armani tie and Tincati shoes.

Giorgio Armani A/W 12/13

A few weeks ago I was at the Giorgio Armani show during Milan Fashion Week. My lovely little camera was not able to capture the styles on the runway, but luckily about a million professional photographers were there for just that, so I will show you a mix of my photos (don't worry it will only be a few!) and some made available in cyberspace.

Mr. Armani showed very bright colors in orange and pink combined with black and grey. I liked the city shorts and men's-like (flat!!) shoes.

My top 3 dresses at the Oscars 2012

Milan Fashion Week is ending; Oscar Night done and wonderful visitors are back in Denmark. It’s been a busy few weeks, but absolutely lovely.

I have been on the streets in Milan with my little Olympus camera and have a lot of photos to share. But today I will post my personal best-dressed list from yesterdays award show – the one and only Oscars!

Men's fashion week FW12, Milan

Let me share a few trends from the runway at the past weeks Fashion Week in Milan. The main fashion houses showed their fall/winter 2012 collections for men.
Double-breasted jackets
Prada

Dolce & Gabbana
Giorgio Armani
Loose pants
Dolce & Gabbana
Giorgio Armani
Velvet
Gucci
Etro
Brocade
Dolce & Gabbana
Military
Prada
Generally I take away an impression of military, darkness and strict discipline combined with heavy brocade and velvet, which brings out a feeling of sitting in from of the fireplace with a glass of quality whiskey on the rocks!
